ACTIVE SHOOTER MITIGATION SYSTEM

 

The Active Intruder Mitigation System is a patent-pending, comprehensive response system designed to mitigate active shooter and other violent events occurring within occupied structures. AIMS provides the necessary combination of training, engineering controls, and response to address the risk associated from the increasing active shooter situations in the critical time before help arrives.

 

Once the threat is identified, AIMS is activated. In seconds, each room is locked down, responders notified, all occupants warned, video verified and the assailant(s) visibility reduced. Most incidents are over in minutes, AIMS goal is to reduce that time to seconds. In the time it takes for an armed response to the attacker, most damage has been done. AIMS fills the time void from attack to response!
